Here are our three steps to a successful Open House:

Planning:

  • Getting the house ready is now easy after having prepared it for the listing. (Preparing your home.) Your home should be in tip-top condition and ready for potential buyers.
  • Together we will select the date that will fit both schedules not conflict with major holidays or events.

Promoting:

  • We will advertise your open house in every available appropriate medium.
  • Have available color flyers filled with quality photos and reasons for a buyer to purchase your home.
  • We will work together to promote your open house date and time utilizing social media, internet and print advertising.

Presenting:

  • Let in the light. Bright lights provide a cheerful environment and make a small space appear larger. Pull back all the drapes and open the blinds. Turn on all the lights. For rooms that you want to have a warm, cozy feeling, use softer lights.
  • Little touches such as fresh flowers, lit candles in the bathrooms, new logs in the fireplace, or a bowl of fresh fruit on the kitchen counter. You may even want to set your dining room table with color-coordinated table settings. Display fresh towels.
  • Adjust the temperature. Keep the home comfortable -- not too cold or too hot.
  • Safeguard your stuff. Stash valuables and prescription medications in a safe place.
  • Remove your pets from the house and your cars from the driveway.
  • Trust us to host a successful open house. Go have some fun in the park, go to a movie. Relax! We will give you a full report when the day is done.
Remember that buyers may see seven or eight homes in a single day. The most memorable home will be the one that seemed the brightest, the most spacious and the most cheerful.
